I've loved romance novels since...like forever. I read across most subgenres of romance. I also write fantasy/paranormal and new adult romance.
What I liked: Drew, the setting, intense smexytimes. And, Drew. He was almost too perfect, but I do love Kristen Callihan's heroes. The first third of the book completely pulled me in. :)
What I didn't like: Anna, especially by the last third of the book. I like strong, independent, feisty heroines, but Anna was just plain unfeeling. She was so awful to Drew and there was never really a time that she had a good grovel about it. It seemed like he had to apologize to her more. She stepped up once he was hurt, but not in any exceptional way.
So, while I am a HUGE Callihan fan, I'm not sure NA is the subgenre for me.
