Waiting...waiting

I'm juggling at least five books right now, one of which is a much-anticipated story I've been waiting for. Usually when a fav author publishes a new book, I read it until late at night and squeeze in time during lunch, etc to finish it.

But sometimes, I'll wait a few days to read it. Maybe I'm afraid it will be disappointing. Maybe I don't like reading awesome books in the middle of the week. (Why are books released on Tuesdays?) Or maybe I just want to draw it out.

So, fingers crossed that it'll be awesome. I think I want to be in a good mental space to read it.

Does anyone else do this?
