I've loved romance novels since...like forever. I read across most subgenres of romance. I also write fantasy/paranormal and new adult romance.
This novella is the first story in the start of a new rom-suspense series by HelenKay Dimon. I liked the set-up. There was lots of action, not just a vague impending threat. I also liked the interactions between the characters--plenty of sass to go around. The romance was okay. Ford and Tasha weren't fully realized, but for novellas, characterization is tricky. The set-up for the series sounds interesting. I LOVE the idea of a combined group of spies: MI6 and the CIA.
This was my first HKD book and I really liked her voice. I heard about this series from a DBSA podcast (of which I'm a huge fan).
